Theme Scriptures: Colossians 2:6-7, Ephesians 3:17-19

The Rooted Retreat looks at the stories and lives of four women in scripture: Rahab, Ruth, Mary (sister of Lazarus), and Lydia. These women's stories are then woven together with the knowledge of how trees grow their root systems to explore how we can be more and more deeply rooted in God and in community with one another to more fully live into God's intention for His Kingdom on earth.

Rooted is a one-day retreat that usually lasts from 9-4. Interwoven in the retreat are several times for community building and fellowship, personal reflection, and crafting. We also build in at least 30 minutes for lunch. Throughout the day, there are also times for worship, which are intentionally blended to appeal to all ages. The day is constructed with plenty of time for laughter and also for deeper spiritual reflection and growth.
SHINE
Theme Scripture: 1 John 1:5-7, Matthew 5:14-16
The Shine Retreat examines the theme of light throughout God's word, from beginning to end, even God who is light and pours Himself into our world. In this four-session retreat, we are encouraged to see the ways that God has illuminated creation, entered into our world, gifted light to us, and called us to shine. Women are encouraged to embrace God's love for them, trust God to work His transforming power in their lives, and join together to spread God's light through the world.

How it works!
So often, I hear from churches...we don't know how to put on a women's retreat...or we don't have the leadership or resources to host a retreat! Rooted is designed to make hosting a women's retreat easy for you! We will bring in all the materials, crafts, worship team, media, decorations, and speakers. We will provide marketing materials to encourage and invite women to come. We can even take care of online registration and pay if you wish. You gather women and provide lunch; we will take care of the rest!

A retreat can be an opportunity to reach out into your community and invite new women into your fellowship, or an opportunity to deepen and strengthen your existing women's ministry...or even both!
