Planting a seed...

We are only just beginning. About a year and a half ago, God began to lay on my heart a vision for a ministry to women that would offer discipleship, and would touch women in every generation, but especially in my own generation and those younger than me. I don't know where God will take all of this, and what God has in store, but I know that God has a plan.

This whole thing is a team effort. The last several months have been spent in conversation with other women who share a similar passion and vision. My prayer is that you will get to hear from each of them, and so many more over the next several years.

We are also looking at a grassroots movement...which is perhaps appropriate based on the name God has given us..."Rooted". Our beginnings will be humble, intentional, and surrendered to God. We will see where this mustard seed goes.

Our verses of origin come from Ephesians 3:14-19: For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Paul's prayer is my prayer for you...for all of us. Let us be planted.
